A big week in community radio with some fantastic campaigns hitting the airwaves this week!

Starting with a Regional NSW campaign for a wonderful charity called Gold Week.  Austar is supporting Gold Week who are calling out for donations to raise $600,000 for the ill and injured children treated at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. CEO of Sydney Children's Hospital Foundation Mr Adam Check, wil be chatting to most of our Regional NSW stations in conjunction with the campaign to talk about the value of public donations and what they do with the money raised. Winner of the 2008 N.S.W Writer’s Centre Open Book Award (Children’s Literature) for his first book, “Iso and The Bushfire”, J.D. Shaw’s second book, “Spit It Out!” Short Texts and Poetry is Jamie's most recent masterpiece. Jamie is currently running a radio campaign on a number of stations across Victoria, NSW & QLD promoting "Spit It Out!" and will be chatting to lots of Arts programs on several stations over the coming weeks.
