The course runs through what podcasting is, how to access information on a range of subjects and how you might be able to use podcasts for yourself.
Detailed course notes are provided so you have a step-by-step guide to take home and reference after the class.
If you would like us to run an Introduction to Podcasting course in your area, get in touch with Claire or Sheena at 4PeopleMedia.

4PeopleMedia are pleased to have taken on SYN’s sponsorship department as the primary contact for sales. With 186,000 listeners each week in the 18-25 age bracket, SYN is a fantastic avenue to reach Melbourne’s youth. 4PeopleMedia already have a number of advertising campaigns running on SYN from our past few years work and hope to be able to increase sponsorship for the station surrounding all the exciting radio events they have running throughout the year.
In news from SYN, both of SYN’s live TV shows (1700 and Get Cereal) kicked off a new season last Monday with fresh hosts and crews bringing you the latest in music and entertainment around Melbourne.
Below The Line is running extensive election coverage on SYN at the moment on Wednesdays from 2pm and Saturdays from 12pm and also on the web and their TV shows.
August 20 sees the next gig in The Hoist Unplugged series at Signal. July saw capacity crowds pack the venue and August 20 should be another great night with Brighter at Night and Death Valley Band taking to the stage.
Also check out some of the podcasts from Warringa Park students on the SYN website – www.syn.org.au
SYN is a dynamic hub for Melbourne’s youth and we’re proud to be in partnership with the station.

It was very exciting to see how much interest there is in podcasting as a marketing tool for business at the ABITE exhibition last week. We met some very interesting people doing great things for business development and were inspired by some new ideas for 4PeopleMedia too.
Thanks to all the people who dropped by our exhibit stand for a chat, we’ll look forward to working with some of you soon both on radio and in podcasting soon.
Back in the office there has been a flurry of radio ads hitting the airwaves for the start of August. Direct Flights are offering more specials on flights to Bali, Thailand, Korea and South Africa. www.directflights.com.au
www.happyhighherbs.com are hitting the airwaves really soon on Cairns FM, Edge Radio, Coast FM and Switch, keep an ear out for that one. And Golf Queensland have some new activity on the Sunshine Coast for women’s golf tournaments. www.golfqueensland.org.au
