4PeopleMedia are happy to welcome Brad Fergusson to the family as our new Media Sales Representative. Brad comes to us from RTR FM in Perth, so has a particular knowledge of Western Australia, but spent a few years in Melbourne studying at VCA previously. Brad is an avid community radio listener and we look forward to being able to share his knowledge of the community radio sector and of marketing with you. Brad will predominantly be looking after retail related campaigns as well as finance and communications clients. 4PeopleMedia are looking for a full-time Media Sales Representative to assist with sales of community radio advertising. This is a senior role within 4PeopleMedia requiring autonomy and client management. Although the role will be primarily based in our Abbotsford office, client meetings may be required so own transport is preferred. Candidates must have excellent communication and computer skills. Previous sales experience and/or a working knowledge of community radio stations preferred.
$27k retainer, plus 12% commission and bonus scheme.

Community radio – Good Sports

Many of the stations 4PeopleMedia represent broadcast sports, health and wellbeing programming each week. From local football broadcasts to motorsports to fishing to general outdoors programming to netball, golf, baseball, soccer, cricket, right through to the guys with opinions on all sports talking through the week in play. Amateurs through to professionals, community radio covers it all.

Consequently we have a lot of health related campaigns running on air at the moment from the Port of Melbourne’s boating safety messages to Fitness Crew personal training, Golf Queensland events, Netball Queensland sign up days, Tomlie Family Sports Day in Victoria, the Bathurst 12 Hour car race and more.

With football pre-season training already underway, now is a great time to start talking sponsorship opportunities for AFL season broadcasts and/or ways to align your brand with health and fitness broadcasting.
