4PeopleMedia represent well over 100 community radio stations across the country, broadcasting to metropolitan areas as well as major regional centres. Altogether our stations reach over 3.1 million listeners every week, 75% of whom don’t listen to any commercial radio at all. Audiences for community radio have grown 10% in the last year to a total 57% of Australians tuning into their local stations each month.

With a maximum of 5 minutes advertising time per hour, community radio is an uncluttered medium delivering significant effect for your campaign. These courses are for anybody who’s heard of podcasting and has a curiosity about what it’s all about. You don’t need to have an iPod or any other equipment. We’ll provide everything you need and all you need to access podcasts when you get home is a computer!

The course runs through what podcasting is, how to access information on a range of subjects and how you might be able to use podcasts for yourself.
Detailed course notes are provided so you have a step-by-step guide to take home and reference after the class.

Welcome Nick!

4PeopleMedia are pleased to welcome Nick Wallis to the Media Sales team. Nick has spent the past 5 years working and volunteering in the radio industry, both community and commercial. In the community sector, Nick volunteered in a variety of roles ranging from audio production and technical duties, to training and board of director duties.

Nick worked as Production Manager in the commercial sector, looking after the production of all the commercials and other audio bits and pieces across the stations.  He's also had extensive experience as an announcer on both community and commercial radio, ranging from late nights to breakfast radio.
Nick is an avid volunteer and supporter of the community and not for profit sector.

In the community sector, Nick volunteered in a variety of roles at both 3MDR in the Dandenong Ranges and Melbourne's youth radio station, SYN, ranging from audio production and technical duties, to training and board of director duties.

Nick worked as Production Manager in the commercial sector with the NSW South Coast's Power FM and 2EC and Ballarat's 3BA and Power FM, looking after the production of all the commercials and other audio bits and pieces across the stations.  He's also had extensive experience as an announcer on both community and commercial radio, ranging from late nights to
breakfast radio.
